OBJECTIVES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GABUNGAN PERSATUAN INDUSTRI MUZIK MALAYSIA or in English THE CONFEDERATION OF MALAYSIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION or in short called MUSIC MALAYSIA, are:
1. To unite all stakeholders of the country's music industry including education, performance, composition, training and business
2. To mobilize the efforts of all the main players towards dignifying the country's music industry.
3. To create a "one-stop center" entity as a reference for the country's music industry
4. To deal with all issues affecting the music industry such as job opportunities, rights protection and copyright for all parties involved in the music industry
5. To be an intermediary with the government in all matters related to the music industry, especially input to the government in shaping the policies of music development both in terms of cultural treasures, education, religion and the entire ecosystem of the Malaysian music industry. Together with the government to play an active role in any formation of the Malaysian Music Association through direct involvement
6. To systematically develop the music industry by giving opportunities to all talents in the music industry regardless of race, race or religion
7. To hold discussions and agreements with influential parties in the music industry such as broadcasting stations, radio and mass media
8. To be the main body that promotes the music industry to the community by using every new media available including various social media, Youtube, Instagram and so on
9. To discuss with the government to be used as a reference body to determine financial resources for the development of human capital and the granting of grants to develop the music industry
10. To determine that the music industry runs perfectly and becomes an industry that gives recognition to those who make the country famous in the international music market.
